CYCLING FOR EVERYONE

2010 Elite SuperCrono Hydromag Trainer - $ 499.99
When it comes to choosing a trainer, should you go with Magnetic or Fluid? That is the question. Fortunately, you get the best of both worlds with the Elite SuperCrono Hydromag. Typical magnetic trainers use a series of magnets to create resistance, while fluid trainers use liquid filled chambers. The Hydromag combines the best of both to give you a wider range of resistance as well as a smooth steady ride and easy shifting from one resistance level to another.
The Hydromag also includes a resistance regulator with five levels, so you can train with a lower level during the warm-up phase and a higher level during strength-building sections.
New for 2010 the SuperCrono frame has four contact points, up from last year’s three points. Unlike many other units, Elite has chosen to use solid base construction to reduce flex. This new legless design, combined with its reduced flex, ensures the Elite SuperCrono Hydromag stays put, even during out of the saddle sprinting. The ElastoGel roller offers significantly less noise and much more resistance than your typical metal, plus the specialized ElastoGel roller is a full 50% larger than most rollers making them much easier on your tires than normal roller systems. The setup is super easy and like the Crono frame the SuperCrono frame uses the rider’s weight to ensure there is constant contact with the roller. The Crono trainer folds up nice and tight so you can either hide it away or transport it easily to another location. Overall, if you are looking for a more realistic ride the Elite SuperCrono Hydromag is a superior trainer that offers performance in range regulation and smoothness of pedaling that is beyond compare.
