Typical magnetic trainers use a series of magnets to create resistance, while fluid trainers use liquid filled chambers. The Hydromag combines the best of both to give you a wider range of resistance as well as a smooth steady ride and easy shifting from one resistance level to another. The Hydromag also includes a resistance regulator with five levels, so you can train with a lower level during the warm-up phase and a higher level during strength-building sections. The Crono trainer folds up nice and tight so you can either hide it away or transport it easily to another location.
